Device Builder
Omschrijving
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Equipment Builder to manufacture high quality and complex equipment such as tanks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and pressure equipment. These products are for the petrochemical industry, oil refineries and natural gas processing, where precision and craftsmanship are essential. In this position you will work with exclusive materials such as stainless steel alloys, nickel alloys, titanium, copper alloys and various special steels. It is also possible to apply for this position as a Zzp'er.
As a device builder, you will be responsible for forming, machining and assembling the various parts of these devices, including the placement of nozzles and valves. You will prepare welds (bevels), roll hulls and plates, and ensure that they are assembled accurately. You will work according to advanced technical drawings and must also be able to perform the preparation of welds with bullets. In addition, you must have experience working with TIG welding processes to bond the structures.

Wat wij zoeken
- Rolling of hulls and plates for the manufacture of tanks and pressure equipment.
- Preparation of welds by bullets and bonding them with TIG welding.
- Cutting holes in plates and hulls, and preparing nozzles for installation.
- Assemble and mount nozzles, valves and other components according to specifications.
- Work with complex technical drawings and be willing to develop on this.
- Working with various materials such as stainless steel, nickel and titanium alloys, and special steels.
- Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
- Working closely with welders and other specialists to provide products of the highest quality.
Wat wij vragen
- Demonstrated work experience as an appliance builder, sheet metal worker, fitter, ironworker or section builder, preferably in appliance or shipbuilding.
- Experience in rolling plates and hulls, and preparing welds by bullets.
- Skill in TIG welding for bonding materials.
- Familiar with cutting burning and preparing holes for nozzles and welds.
- Experience reading and working to complex technical drawings.
- Experience with high performance materials such as stainless steel, titanium, nickel and copper alloys.
- Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- In possession of a VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one.
